Evadale, TX (August 19, 2025) – Two firefighters sustained injuries Monday evening after their emergency vehicle veered off FM 105 and crashed while they were responding to a medical emergency, according to reports from local fire officials.
The incident took place just before 7 p.m. in the 6800 block of FM 105. Fire personnel on the scene indicated that the fire truck suffered a tire blowout, causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle exited the roadway and crashed, injuring both firefighters inside.
