Fayetteville, NC (September 22, 2025) – A high-speed crash left three individuals hospitalized, including two teens, after a vehicle lost control on Black and Decker Rd and struck a gazebo near Legion Rd.
The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on September 22. According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol (NCSHP), the car was speeding eastbound when it became airborne while crossing the intersection at Legion Rd. The vehicle then traveled down an embankment near Hennardland Pl before colliding with a gazebo and coming to a stop.
Emergency responders from Fayetteville extricated the driver, who was trapped inside the wreckage. He was rushed to Cape Fear Valley Hospital with life-threatening injuries. A 16-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl, also occupants of the vehicle, were injured and transported to the same facility for further care.
