Franklin County, MO (September 7, 2025) – A motorcycle collision Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Route O and Route NN left two riders injured. The crash was investigated by Troop C of the Missouri State Highway Patrol and was reported at approximately 12:45 p.m.
According to the crash report, the incident occurred when a 2009 Harley Davidson Sportster 883 Custom, operated by a 43-year-old man from Pacific, attempted to make a left turn onto Route NN. In doing so, the motorcycle traveled into the path of a 2004 Harley Davidson Road King Custom, operated by a 69-year-old man from Gerald. Despite efforts to slow down, the Road King struck the side of the Sportster.
Both motorcyclists suffered moderate injuries. The 43-year-old rider was transported by Meramec Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital Washington, while the 69-year-old rider was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Neither motorcycle could be driven from the scene, and both were towed by Hoffman’s Towing.
