Fremont, CA (August 13, 2025) – A collision involving a black Cadillac sedan and another vehicle caused injuries Tuesday afternoon on northbound Interstate 880 just south of W Warren Ave, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash was first reported around 3:43 p.m. when witnesses observed the Cadillac weaving between lanes before striking another vehicle and leaving the roadway. The car came to rest approximately 100 feet off the right-hand side of the freeway.
CHP officers and emergency medical personnel responded, confirming that at least one person sustained minor injuries. Great America Tow was called to remove the damaged vehicle. Traffic Service Patrol units assisted with scene safety, and one lane was temporarily affected during the response.
The investigation is ongoing, and CHP has not yet confirmed whether citations or charges will be filed.
