Fresno, CA (September 13, 2025) – Emergency responders were called to a serious two-vehicle crash Thursday night in the Tower District neighborhood after a police pursuit ended in a violent collision at Palm Ave and Olive Ave.
The incident occurred, following a failed traffic stop near McKinley Ave and West Ave. According to the Fresno Police Department, officers had attempted to pull over a driver who fled the scene, prompting a pursuit through the neighborhood. Minutes later, the fleeing vehicle collided with another car at the busy intersection of Palm and Olive avenues.
The force of the crash was significant enough to push one of the vehicles into the nearby Palm and Olive Antiques store, causing further property damage. Emergency responders from Fresno Fire and Rescue arrived quickly and provided aid to multiple injured parties. First responders, including paramedics, assessed and treated individuals hurt in the crash. Two people in the second vehicle and one occupant from the suspect’s vehicle were injured in the impact and transported for further medical care.
The suspect driver was taken into custody at the scene. No additional information on the identities of those involved has been released, and the incident remains under active investigation.
