Fresno County, CA (September 22, 2025) – A bicyclist was seriously injured in a vehicle collision Monday night along the 11500 block of East Dinuba Avenue in rural Fresno County. The incident occurred around 8:34 p.m. and was quickly classified as a major injury crash by the California Highway Patrol.
CHP dispatch records initially noted that no vehicles were on the scene when the incident was first reported. However, shortly afterward, two vehicles were seen pulled over on the right-hand shoulder nearby. Emergency medical services responded to the scene and transported the injured cyclist for urgent treatment. The extent of the rider’s injuries has not been made public, but the situation was described as critical enough to warrant an elevated response.
As of the most recent updates, CHP confirmed that the crash involved a vehicle versus bicycle, but no hit-and-run was suspected.
