Garland Co, AR (January 17, 2026) – A crash with injuries was reported along the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 70, just under a mile northeast of the intersection with State Highway 192 in Garland County.
Multiple agencies responded quickly to the scene, where at least two vehicles collided under still-uncertain circumstances. The roadway was partially blocked as paramedics worked to assist those hurt in the accident, and traffic was temporarily diverted while crews cleared the area.
Initial reports indicate that several individuals sustained a variety of injuries. Emergency medical services provided on-site care and prepared the injured for transport to nearby medical facilities. The condition of those involved has not yet been confirmed.
Both damaged vehicles remained at the scene for some time while authorities began a preliminary investigation. Skid marks and vehicle debris were observed along the shoulder and travel lanes, pointing to the severity of the impact.
