Georgetown, DE (January 17, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a pedestrian crash along the 400 block of E Market St in Georgetown. First responders, including Georgetown EMS and Sussex County medics, worked quickly to assess and transport one injured individual from the scene.
The incident occurred around 8:13 p.m. and prompted a multi-agency response, including Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 2. While air transport was initially considered, it was ultimately not utilized.
