Georgetown, DE (August 12, 2025) – A rollover incident with entrapment occurred on August 11 on RT 404, east of Wilson Hill Road in Georgetown. Emergency crews, including Seaford Fire Department (87), Medics, DSP Aviation Trooper 2, and Bridgeville Fire Department (72), responded promptly to the scene.
Upon arrival, responders found that one individual was trapped inside the vehicle. Emergency crews worked swiftly to extricate the individual safely. Although DSP Aviation Trooper 2 was initially on standby, it was later determined that air transport would not be needed, and ground-based transportation was used.
The individual involved sustained injuries, and while the extent of those injuries has not been disclosed, they were transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident, and additional details will be released as the investigation progresses.
