Gillette, WY (September 18, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash occurred on September 18 near mile marker 84 on Highway 14 West in Gillette. The incident was reported at approximately 10:32 a.m. PDT, and involved a rear-end collision.
Emergency responders, including Gillette Police, Campbell County Sheriff, Fire and EMS, and the Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP), were quickly dispatched to the scene. An elderly individual reported experiencing back pain as a result of the crash. Fire and medical crews worked to safely extract the patient from one of the vehicles and provided on-site medical care before transporting the individual to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and authorities have not released further details about the conditions of the individuals involved. Traffic in the area was temporarily impacted while crews worked to clear the scene, but normal traffic flow was restored once the wreckage was removed.
