Greene County, MO (May 12, 2025) – A serious crash occurred on Sunday, May 11, on I-44 Eastbound at the 84-mile marker in Greene County, Missouri. The crash involved a 2002 Honda Interceptor motorcycle and a 2021 Toyota Highlander.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver of the motorcycle, a 31-year-old male from Marshfield, MO, rear-ended the Toyota Highlander. The impact caused the motorcyclist to sustain serious injuries. The driver of the motorcycle was wearing a safety device and was transported via law enforcement to Cox South for medical treatment. The crash occurred at approximately 6:50 PM.
The driver of the Toyota Highlander, a 36-year-old female also from Marshfield, MO, was not injured and was able to drive her vehicle from the scene. Both vehicles were traveling eastbound at the time of the crash.
The investigation indicates that the motorcycle rear-ended the Toyota Highlander, causing serious injuries to the motorcyclist. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
