Kecoughtan Road is a well-traveled corridor connecting residential areas with commercial zones and the Hampton Riverfront. The intersection at Pocahontas Pl lies in a mixed-use area where traffic congestion, limited turning visibility, and pedestrian activity can increase the risk of collisions—particularly during weekend hours.
The Hampton Police Division is currently investigating the cause of the crash. Contributing factors such as distracted driving, failure to yield, or unsafe turning maneuvers may be under review.
We extend our wishes for a full and speedy recovery to everyone injured in this incident.
