Hartford, CT (January 17, 2026) – A crash involving two sedans led to reported injuries during the early morning hours of January 16 at the intersection of Broad St and Lincoln St in Hartford. The incident occurred around 1:35 a.m. and involved a gray sedan and a red sedan, one of which came to rest on the curb and was reportedly smoking.
Emergency crews responded to the scene after receiving reports that no occupants had exited the vehicles, prompting immediate concern for injuries. Fire and EMS units were dispatched, and an ambulance was requested to assist with at least one person hurt in the crash. The full extent of injuries has not yet been released.
Authorities coordinated traffic control in the area, with units helping to block off Broad St near Madison St as crews worked. In a separate but nearby issue, a gray Lexus was reported to be blocking a driveway on Homestead Ave.
