Hayward, CA (September 10, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash led to at least one person being hospitalized late Monday morning in the Ashland neighborhood of Hayward.
The incident occurred around 10:21 a.m. at the intersection of Ashland Ave and 14th St, according to the California Highway Patrol. Initial reports indicate that two vehicles were involved, though authorities have not yet confirmed what caused the crash.
One individual sustained injuries in the collision and was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The extent of their injuries remains unclear at this time.
Both vehicles were recovered at the scene, and investigators are working to determine whether speed, distraction, or other factors played a role in the incident. Traffic in the area was impacted while crews responded and cleared the roadway.
