Roundabout Accidents in California
Roundabouts are designed to improve traffic flow and reduce severe crashes at intersections, but accidents can still occur due to misjudged right-of-way, high speeds, or driver inattention. Collisions at roundabouts often involve side impacts or rear-end crashes, which can lead to injuries.
According to the California Office of Traffic Safety, thousands of intersection-related crashes happen each year, and although roundabouts generally lower fatal crash rates, they require drivers to stay alert and yield properly to avoid collisions.
For those injured in an intersection crash, seeking medical care and understanding their legal rights are crucial steps toward recovery. Accessing the right resources can help victims navigate the aftermath of an accident.
