Horry County, SC (July 6, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash led to traffic disruptions and injuries along Highway 501 near Waccamaw Pines Dr on Sunday afternoon. The collision occurred shortly before 1:00 p.m., prompting a response from Horry County Fire Rescue.
First responders, including paramedics, assessed and treated individuals hurt in the crash. Two people were transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation, while a third person declined ambulance transport by signing a medical waiver. The Conway-bound lanes of Hwy 501 were partially blocked as crews worked to manage the scene.
