Houston, TX (January 24, 2025) – A deadly house fire broke out early Friday morning in northeast Houston, leaving one person dead and another injured. The Houston Fire Department and Houston Police Department responded to the scene just after 1:40 AM at the intersection of Lila Street and Ralston Road.
According to officials, the people inside the home woke to find it filled with smoke. Tragically, one individual was unable to escape the blaze, while another was injured and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
