Indianapolis, IN (January 26, 2026) – A 21-year-old woman was transported to the hospital following a rear-end accident that occurred on Monday morning on the south side of Indianapolis.
The crash was reported on January 26 near E Stop 11 Rd, where the driver told emergency crews she had been struck from behind while traveling at approximately 40 miles per hour. The impact reportedly caused her vehicle to spin before striking a barrier.
Medical personnel confirmed the woman was restrained at the time of the crash and suffered a range of injuries, including left-sided hip and flank pain, a headache, and some memory loss related to the incident.
Paramedics administered fentanyl for pain relief and transported her to St. Francis Hospital. No airbag deployment was reported. Authorities have not released further details regarding other parties or vehicles involved.
