The incident was reported around 6:21 a.m. on February 1, according to Marion County dispatch communications.
The crash involved a blue Chevrolet Astro van and a white Hyundai. The driver of the van later contacted authorities from a nearby location, reporting chest pain and requesting an ambulance for medical assistance. Emergency medical services responded to evaluate and treat the injured individual at the scene.
