Jefferson County, MO (January 3, 2025) – A serious two-car collision took place on Thursday morning at the intersection of Missouri 110 and Upper Plattin Rd, resulting in injuries to four individuals. The crash, reported at approximately 8:15 a.m., involved a 2006 Jeep Wrangler and a 2023 Toyota Camry.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Vehicle 1 (a Toyota Camry) traveled into the path of Vehicle 2 (a Jeep Wrangler). Despite an attempt by the driver of Vehicle 2 to avoid the collision, the front of the Jeep struck the front driver’s side of the Toyota.
The driver of the Jeep, a 63-year-old female from Bonne Terre, MO, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital South by Valle Ambulance District. The Toyota’s driver, an 81-year-old male from De Soto, MO, sustained minor injuries and was also transported for treatment. A 79-year-old female passenger in the Toyota from De Soto, MO, also suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the same hospital. Authorities are investigating the incident.
