Jefferson County, MO (January 26, 2025) – An accident on Northbound Konert Rd, south of Konert Crossing, left one individual injured in a serious vehicle crash. The incident occurred around 3:43 p.m. and is under investigation by Trooper C.W. Cherry (625).
According to preliminary reports, a 2004 Honda Accord driven by a 28-year-old male from Fenton, MO, was traveling northbound on Konert Rd when the vehicle veered off the right side of the road. The undercarriage struck the roadway edge, causing the car to slide. The vehicle returned to the road, crossed the double yellow centerline, and then exited the left side of the road. The undercarriage struck the roadway edge again before the vehicle overturned into a creek, with its top striking a tree. The vehicle came to rest on its driver’s side, facing north.
A 26-year-old female passenger from Imperial, MO, sustained moderate injuries in the crash. She was not wearing a safety device and was transported by private conveyance to Mercy Hospital South for treatment. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
