Jefferson County, WV (January 17, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident with injuries occurred on January 16 at the intersection of Charles Town Rd and Cattail Run Rd in the Mechanicstown area. The collision took place around 4:07 p.m., prompting a response from Company 2 and Medical Unit 1104.
Crews arrived to find two vehicles involved, each positioned on opposite sides of the roadway. At least one person was reported injured in the crash, and EMS personnel assessed the individual at the scene for treatment. The extent of injuries has not been disclosed, and no transports have been officially confirmed at this time.
