Joppa, MD (August 11, 2025) – A serious collision Monday morning shut down all northbound lanes of I-95 near mile marker 81.5, just north of MD-543. Maryland State Police reported that an injured child was airlifted to Johns Hopkins Hospital for treatment.
The crash occurred during the morning commute and caused significant traffic delays until all lanes reopened around 12:41 p.m. Authorities have not released details on the number of vehicles involved or the circumstances that led to the collision. The investigation into the cause is ongoing.
