Juniata County, PA (August 9, 2025) – A fatal crash led to the closure of Rt 322 East between Port Royal and Thompsontown on Friday. Authorities confirmed the incident occurred earlier in the day, prompting law enforcement and emergency crews to shut down the affected stretch of roadway for several hours.
Drivers were advised to take alternate routes while investigators worked at the scene. Details regarding the number of vehicles involved or the cause of the crash have not yet been released.
