Knoxville, TN (January 16, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle crash with reported injuries in the western part of Knoxville.
The collision took place around 4:39 p.m. near the intersection of North Gallaher View Rd and Bridgedale Dr. Squad 20 and other emergency units were dispatched to the scene and operated on Tac Channel 5 to coordinate their response. Paramedics and fire personnel worked to assess and care for at least one person who sustained injuries during the crash.
Though the full extent of the injuries has not yet been officially confirmed, first responders remained at the scene to manage the situation and assist all involved. Multiple vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash, which led to temporary traffic disruptions in the area during the evening commute.
Officials have not provided details on the cause of the collision, and an investigation is currently underway to determine the events leading up to the incident.
