Knoxville, TN (January 17, 2026) – A motor vehicle crash with reported injuries occurred Friday afternoon in Knoxville’s western district. The incident took place around 4:46 p.m. on January 16 near the intersection of W Fifth Ave and Arthur St, not far from Marion St, prompting a response from Engine 5 and other emergency units.
First responders arrived at the scene and began providing medical care to those involved. At least one person sustained injuries in the crash, though the number of individuals hurt and the severity of their injuries have not yet been confirmed.
