Knoxville, TN (May 13, 2025) – Medics and fire crews worked to assist those suffering from injuries after a head-on crash Monday evening on Holston Dr near Ault Rd. The collision occurred after suspects in a red Nissan Altima fled a traffic stop initiated by Knoxville Police.
According to officials, the initial stop took place around 7:45 p.m. when an officer observed the Nissan run a red light at Martin Luther King Jr. Ave and Fern St. The vehicle contained three occupants—identified as Bryant Page, 25, Dyshawn McNeil, 33, and a third passenger—who were reportedly acting suspiciously. When the officer returned to his vehicle to request backup, the Nissan fled the scene at high speed.
Within moments, the fleeing vehicle collided head-on with a Toyota Sequoia on Holston Dr. Knoxville Fire Department personnel were required to extricate both drivers from the wreckage. All individuals involved in the crash, including the suspects and the female driver of the Toyota, were transported to UT Medical Center for treatment.
Police reported that Page suffered serious injuries but is expected to survive.
