Knoxville, TN (January 17, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle collision involving injuries Friday evening in South Knoxville. The crash occurred around 5:00 p.m. near the intersection of Chapman Hwy and E Young High Pike, prompting a response from Squad 13 and medical personnel via Tac Channel Six.

At least one vehicle was involved in the incident, and EMS provided on-site care to individuals injured in the crash. The extent of injuries has not yet been confirmed, but responders acted quickly to treat those in need.

Traffic in the area was temporarily impacted as emergency personnel worked to manage the scene and conduct a preliminary investigation. Officials have not yet released details about the cause of the crash.
