Laclede County, MO (January 26, 2025) – A vehicle accident occurred on Highway MM, approximately half a mile north of Grindstone Rd, resulting in injuries to an occupant. The crash was reported at approximately 12:22 p.m. and was investigated by Trooper J.C. Southwood of Troop I.
According to the report, a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling southbound when it veered off the right side of the roadway, struck a fence, and overturned. The vehicle sustained total damage and was towed from the scene by Paul’s Towing.
A 39-year-old male occupant from Buffalo, MO, sustained moderate injuries in the crash. He was not wearing a safety device at the time of the incident and refused transportation from Mercy Lebanon Ambulance. The 26-year-old male driver of the vehicle, from Lebanon, MO, was not reported to have sustained injuries but was also not wearing a safety device.
The accident remains under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, with assistance from Trooper E.A. Goans and the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office.
