Lancaster County, NE (November 14, 2025) – A devastating two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 77 and Hallam Road left two people dead and one injured on Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m., just south of Lincoln, and prompted a significant response from the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, Nebraska State Patrol, and emergency medical teams.
According to Capt. John Vik, the crash involved a northbound Ford F-150 and a westbound Buick that was entering the intersection. The F-150 struck the Buick, causing severe damage and tragically resulting in the death of one Buick occupant at the scene. A second person in the Buick was transported to the hospital but later succumbed to their injuries.
The driver of the F-150 sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims as the investigation remains ongoing.
