Las Vegas, NV (January 17, 2026) – Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of an injury crash that occurred Friday evening at the intersection of W Washington Ave and N Decatur Blvd in Las Vegas.
The incident took place at approximately 6:55 p.m. on January 16. Paramedics and fire crews from Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responded promptly, providing care to individuals who sustained a variety of injuries in the two-vehicle collision. At least one person was treated at the scene, though officials have not yet confirmed the total number of people transported for further medical evaluation.
Both vehicles remained at the location while crews worked to assess the scene and assist the injured. Traffic along W Washington Ave and surrounding areas was impacted as authorities coordinated cleanup and safety measures. The intersection was temporarily restricted during the response effort.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has launched a formal investigation to determine the events that led up to the crash. Officials have not released information regarding any contributing factors at this time.
