Lincoln County, MO (September 13, 2025) – A serious crash occurred Friday afternoon at the intersection of Route B and Route W in Lincoln County, resulting in one person being airlifted to a nearby hospital. The incident was reported at approximately 2:10 p.m., with both vehicles involved sustaining significant damage.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver of a 2002 Ford F150, a 31-year-old female from Fulton, MO, failed to yield to oncoming traffic while traveling northbound on Route W. She struck the passenger side of a 2015 Ford F450, driven by a 59-year-old male from Elsberry, MO, who was traveling eastbound on Route B. The collision resulted in serious injuries to the female driver, who was airlifted to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for treatment.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed to Jackson Towing. The male driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was uninjured. The crash remains under investigation, with Trooper G.C. Leach and Trooper M.C. Mennemeyer assisting at the scene.
