The crash occurred shortly after 4:00 p.m., drawing an urgent response from Long Beach Police and Fire units.
Dispatch audio indicated multiple 911 calls reporting the incident as a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash, with the child reportedly running into the street near Cherry Park, just east of the 90807 area.
