Long Beach, CA (September 16, 2025) – Emergency responders from Long Beach Fire were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision that left three people injured on the northbound 405 Freeway near East Ocean Blvd on Monday evening.
First responders, including fire crews and paramedics, arrived quickly to the scene just after 8:00 p.m., where two vehicles had come to rest on the right shoulder of the northbound lanes. Upon arrival, firefighters located both vehicles and confirmed that at least three individuals had sustained injuries requiring medical attention.
Long Beach Fire personnel coordinated with EMS units to assess and treat the injured parties at the scene. The specifics of the injuries have not been released, but all victims were evaluated for further care. Medics and fire crews worked to assist those suffering from a variety of injuries before determining whether transportation to local hospitals was necessary.
The crash caused moderate traffic delays along the northbound side of the 405 as responders managed the incident and worked to safely clear the roadway.
