Los Angeles, CA (September 18, 2025) – Multiple people sustained injuries following a traffic accident early Wednesday morning at the intersection of East Washington Blvd and South Alameda St in the Central City area of Downtown Los Angeles.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:31 a.m., during a busy commuting hour along one of LA’s key industrial corridors. Emergency medical personnel arrived on scene shortly after the crash was reported. Several individuals received treatment for a variety of injuries, and at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for continued care. The severity of injuries has not yet been publicly confirmed.
Located near several commercial facilities and major traffic arteries, the intersection where the collision occurred is known for frequent congestion and heavy vehicle use. The crash involved at least two vehicles and caused lane blockages during peak traffic. Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department worked quickly to assist victims, clear the scene, and redirect traffic away from the area.
