Los Angeles, CA (September 16, 2025) – A hit-and-run collision left at least one person injured Monday afternoon near Van Nuys Blvd in the Pacoima neighborhood of Los Angeles, just in front of DD’s Discounts.
The crash occurred around 5:06 p.m., and responding officers from Valley Traffic Division confirmed that the incident involved a felony-level hit-and-run. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, where they located the injured victim waiting near the store frontage on Van Nuys Blvd.
Initial reports indicate the suspect vehicle fled the area before authorities arrived. The injured party, whose vehicle was described as a 2018 model with black striping, remained at the scene to speak with officers and receive medical attention. The nature and extent of the victim’s injuries have not yet been released.
LAPD has initiated a full investigation into the incident, including reviewing any available surveillance footage from nearby businesses. Details regarding the suspect vehicle and driver have not been made public at this time.
