Pedestrian Accidents in California
Pedestrian fatalities remain a significant concern in California, particularly on high-speed roadways such as the 110 Freeway. Many pedestrian-involved accidents on freeways occur due to low visibility, high traffic speeds, and unpredictable movements.
According to the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS), hundreds of pedestrian fatalities occur across the state each year. Many of these incidents involve factors such as distracted driving, impaired driving, or pedestrians crossing in unsafe conditions.
When a pedestrian is struck by multiple vehicles, investigators work to determine each driver’s involvement and whether any negligence played a role in the accident. Families of victims may have the right to pursue legal action for wrongful death claims to seek justice and financial support.
