Los Gatos, CA (April 9, 2025) – A multi-vehicle pileup on State Route 17 northbound resulted in injuries Monday afternoon in Los Gatos, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Emergency responders were quick to the scene, providing care to the injured victims. The crash occurred around 1:00 p.m. just south of the Alma Bridge Rd off-ramp. Multiple vehicles were involved in the chain-reaction collision, causing a temporary traffic backup on the heavily traveled mountain corridor.
While all reported injuries were minor, medics evaluated those involved at the scene, and at least one person received treatment. It remains unclear how many people were in the affected vehicles, but authorities indicated that none of the injuries were life-threatening.
Traffic was briefly halted as emergency crews worked to clear the scene and ensure the safety of passing motorists. Tow trucks were dispatched to remove damaged vehicles from the highway, and all lanes were later reopened.
