Louisville, KY (January 28, 2026) – A rollover collision on I-65 North near the Fern Valley Rd ramp resulted in serious injuries to two individuals on January 27, prompting a significant emergency response and temporary ramp closures.
The crash involved a vehicle overturning on the northbound feeder ramp. Early reports indicated a female passenger was initially feared to be in cardiac arrest; however, it was later clarified that both occupants, one male and one female, were conscious but suffering from significant injuries. Responders noted the female victim was not fully alert at the scene and required urgent transport.
Traffic units worked to block access to the ramp and coordinated with TRIMARC to deploy safety signage in the area to protect personnel during the response. Paramedics provided care before transporting the injured individuals to a local hospital.
The full extent of the victims’ injuries has not yet been released, and investigators are continuing to piece together the events leading to the rollover.
