Louisville, KY (February 1, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Breckenridge Lane and Bartlett Road left two people injured, including one who was initially trapped inside a vehicle, according to emergency dispatch reports.
The crash occurred around 5:13 AM on January 31. Louisville Metro Police and fire personnel were dispatched to the scene after the incident was updated from a non-injury call to a confirmed injury accident.
Emergency crews found one male occupant trapped inside a vehicle, though he was reported to be alert and conscious. Firefighters worked to safely extricate him from the wreck. A second injured individual, who was seated in a witness’s car when responders arrived, reportedly sustained a possible broken foot and minor lacerations to the hand.
Medics provided care to both victims on scene. Their current conditions have not been released, but both were reported stable during initial assessments.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. No further information regarding contributing factors or citations has been disclosed.
