Louisville, KY (August 13, 2025) – A two-vehicle rollover accident occurred on Stone Street Road near the 40272 area on Sunday, August 10, at approximately 4:24 p.m. Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene after reports indicated that at least one person might be trapped in the wreckage.
Upon arrival, Louisville Metro Police and emergency responders found that the situation was less severe than initially reported. While it was initially believed that someone was trapped inside one of the vehicles, later checks confirmed that no one was trapped. However, at least one person sustained injuries and was treated on-site before being transported to a nearby hospital.
The accident involved two vehicles, both of which were heavily damaged due to the rollover. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the cause of the crash and to assess whether any further action is needed.
