Lyme Township, OH (January 2, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning at the intersection of State Route 113 and State Route 4 in Huron County tragically claimed the life of a 28-year-old woman. The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) reported that the crash occurred around 3:44 AM.
According to OSHP, a semi-truck was traveling eastbound on SR 113 when a 2017 Acura ILX, heading southbound on SR 4, failed to stop at the stoplight at the intersection. The semi-truck collided with the Acura, causing significant damage.
The driver of the Acura, identified as Myeicia Amison of Sandusky, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver was not injured. OSHP confirmed that alcohol and drugs were not factors in the crash, and the incident remains under investigation.
