Mechanicsville, VA (September 10, 2025) – Emergency responders from Hanover County Fire and EMS were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision early Wednesday morning near the intersection of Bell Creek Rd and Mechanicsville Turnpike (US-360). The crash involved a Mazda and a Toyota sedan and resulted in at least one person sustaining a head injury.
The incident was first reported around 7:42 a.m., with both Engine 417 and Ambulance 441 dispatched to the area, located within Station 7’s district. According to the dispatch audio, one caller indicated she had struck her head during the impact, prompting paramedics to prioritize a medical evaluation on scene.
Crews arrived shortly after and located the involved vehicles near the 360 split, confirming the presence of a Mazda and a Toyota sedan. Responders treated the injured individual for head trauma and assessed others for additional injuries as part of standard post-collision protocol.
