Car Accidents in Arizona
Crashes like Monday’s collision near N Dobson Rd and Rio Salado Pkwy highlight the dangers of busy intersections in urban areas. In Mesa, high-traffic corridors often see a mix of commuter and local traffic, which can increase the risk of accidents—especially during peak travel times. Common contributing factors to such collisions include distracted driving, unsafe lane changes, and failure to yield.
When children are involved in crashes, ensuring proper restraint use is critical to minimizing injuries. Arizona law requires all children under the age of 8 to be secured in an appropriate car seat or booster seat.
