Metairie, LA (January 30, 2026) – A male bicyclist sustained injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Veterans Memorial Blvd near the Barnes & Noble shopping area in Metairie. The collision occurred on January 29 and prompted a rapid emergency response.
Dispatch audio indicated that the accident took place between Division St and Virginia Dr in Zone 1826. Emergency responders, including Engine 208, arrived at the scene to assist the injured cyclist and manage the flow of traffic around the area.
