Millville, NJ (August 11, 2025) – A pedestrian was seriously injured Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle on Route 553/North Main Street near Fairton-Millville Road in Cumberland County. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. when, according to New Jersey State Police, a southbound passenger vehicle struck a 58-year-old Millville man who had entered the roadway on foot.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries in the crash.
