Why Two-Vehicle Crashes Can Cause Serious Injuries
Even crashes involving just two vehicles can result in significant injuries, depending on the angle of impact and speed. Side and front collisions often produce more force on occupants than minor fender-benders.
Emergency responders focus on quickly treating anyone injured and clearing the scene to prevent further accidents. Road closures, even brief ones, are necessary to protect both the injured and other drivers. Proper attention, safe speeds, and maintaining distance between vehicles can reduce the likelihood and severity of these types of collisions.
