Morgan County, MO (May 12, 2025) – A serious crash occurred Sunday, May 11, around 7:17 PM on Route T, south of Campbell Drive in Morgan County, Missouri. The crash involved a 2017 Ford Explorer that veered off the road and struck a tree after crossing the center of the roadway.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver of the Ford Explorer, a 33-year-old male from Stover, MO, lost control of the vehicle while navigating a curve. The vehicle crossed the centerline and went off the right side of the road, where it struck a Chevron sign and then a tree.
The crash resulted in serious injuries to two female occupants, aged 20 and 33, both from Stover, MO. Both women were transported to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. The driver, a 33-year-old male from Stover, MO, also sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to the same hospital for treatment.
The Ford Explorer sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene by Whan’s Towing. Investigators are working to determine the exact cause of the crash, though it is clear that the vehicle’s loss of control led to the collision with the tree.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area while authorities continue their investigation and clear the scene. Traffic delays are expected.
