Morgan County, AL (September 11, 2025) – A crash occurred on Thursday morning along Highway 431/231, just south of the Tennessee River Bridge near the Lacey’s Spring area, resulting in one person being injured. The incident, which took place around 7:07 a.m., involved entrapment, prompting a large emergency response.
HEMSI spokesperson Don Webster confirmed that the injured individual was transported by HEMSI ambulance to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Services with non-life-threatening injuries. The individual is currently being evaluated, but their condition is stable.
In addition to HEMSI, deputies from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, along with volunteer firefighters, Huntsville Fire & Rescue, and Decatur-Morgan ambulances, all responded to the scene to assist with the accident.
