Moultonborough, NH (August 8, 2025) – A Thursday afternoon hit-and-run collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on Moultonboro Neck Rd left one person injured and led to an arrest. The crash occurred around 4:05 p.m. near Lower Meadow Rd. According to the Moultonborough Police Department, the driver of the involved vehicle fled the scene southbound on Moultonboro Neck Rd after the crash.
Responding officers quickly coordinated efforts to locate the suspect. At 4:17 p.m., Chief Beede spotted the vehicle traveling southbound near Harbourside, and by 4:19 p.m., it was stopped on Long Island Rd near Trexler’s Marina. The driver, identified as 18-year-old Robert Lloyd Horne Jr. of Rochester, NH, was taken into custody on charges of Reckless Conduct – Deadly Weapon, Conduct After Accident, and Reckless Operation.
